Pale Blue Agate Beads Necklace Set

These past few weeks I have made quite a few new sets, but when it comes to taking pictures of them, somehow I never seem to find the time to do that. Finally this week I started to take some pictures of some of the sets and I hope to have them all in this space fairly soon. I also have some rather big changes and announcements with regard to this space that I will be making soon. I am in the process of putting things in place and when everything is kind of set up, will let you all know about it.

Pale Blue Agate Beads Necklace Set

Moving on to this necklace, I had these really pale agate beads with me that I wanted to use in a necklace. I used them with contrasting navy teardrop czech beads and some silver toned spacers. This necklace is perfect for both casual and dressy tops or Indian dresses.

Multicolored Black Crystal Necklace Set

As I mentioned in my last post, recently I got a chance to make quite a few pieces of jewelry. This is one of the necklaces I made. This one is made with a multi colored black crystal, in the sense the crystal is not just black, it has different hues of pink and brown and other colors in it.

 Black Crystal Necklace set

I am not sure the pictures shows the color of the crystal precisely but I really like these beads a lot. They are so pretty and these are the kind of beads that work with any color combination, so they are very versatile as well. In this necklace I used silver spacers to contrast with the black, but kept the design simple because the beads are so pretty as is, they do not need too much spacers and stuff to enhance them. This necklace is a nice way to dress up any casual top, tunic, salwar or even a saree. :)

Fuchsia and purple wood bead earrings

It has been the longest time I feel since I posted any jewelry in this space. Not that I have not made any, but I haven't gotten around to take pictures of any of my recent work and as a result I could not post anything in this space for a fairly long time.

On a recent trip I purchased a top that has fast become one of  my favorite tops. I have been wanting to make a pair of earrings to go with it but kept putting it off. Finally a couple of weeks back I managed to dig around my bead box to see if any of the beads match the top. Sure enough I found these fuchsia and purple wood beads that matched the embroidery on the top. I combined the wood beads with some spacers, and kept the design very simple. This is how it turned out.............................

And yes, I have displayed the earrings on the embroidery portion of my top. I was really lucky I guess that I ended up having the exact same color beads to match the dress. It made it really easy for me to come up with the design for the earrings :)  That's it for today but I will be back shortly with a lot more earrings and other fun stuff. Until then hope you all have a good week and a good weekend :)

Wood bead Earrings

Recently I purchased some wood beads for the first time and was very keen to try them in earrings and necklaces, but first in earrings. Since the beads were red, I decided to pair them with silver spacers for a good contrast and made it in a very simple pattern. This is how it turned out..... :)

Metallic rondelle earrings

In the past I have used a metallic beads a few times in combination with other spacers or beads in earrings. This is the first time I used all metallic rondelle crystal beads in earrings, I just used different colors and sizes and used some daisy spacers in between to add a little more interest. These earrings aren't very long, they turned out to be quite small small and dainty :)

Peach silver earrings

Made a few earrings recently and will share their pictures here soon. Here is the first one, made this one for a friend. It's a simple design with silver spacers and a peach colored acrylic bead.  I thought the spacer made a big difference, it really added a nice touch to this earring. It's a very light and delicate earring, making it a perfect accessory for any simple top or tshirt:)

Blue acrylic bead earrings

Recently I purchased some acrylic beads from my local craft store and find them to be very versatile.  They are available in a variety of colors and I love the shape of these beads. They seem just perfect for casual earrings or bracelets. I haven't made any bracelets with them yet, but here are a pair of earrings that I made.I combined silver spacers with this blue bead, since I always think silver and blue make a good combination and did not try to enhance the earring with anything else. Left it simple.......

Pink Morganite Wire Wrapped Bead Earring

This earring is the first time I used pink Morganite oval beads. It's also the first time I tried my hand at decorative wire wrapping. Loved the effect of silver wire around the beads. Finished off these earrings with a tiny pink crystal hanging just below the oval beads.

This creation of mine is off to Destination Craft Cutesy Monday event being hosted by Kathryn
